Howdy! Happy September! I hope everyone has gotten their students settled in and ready for the school year. September is an exciting month in many ways, some of us are celebrating our birthdays (wink,wink), and some of us are enjoying hints of fall through a pumpkin spice latte.
We have many exciting events coming up in September and hope to see you at one or all of them. First is our monthly meeting. Our monthly meetings provide a chance to meet with other Aggie Moms, make new friends, share information, learn about the traditions of Texas A&M, join clubs, do a little shopping, apply for book awards, and have some Aggie fun!!
The meeting will be held on September 10th at the Houston Distributing Company, located at 7100 High Life Drive, Houston, Tx 77066. Arrive at 6:30 for food and fun. The meeting will begin at 7:00pm. Our guest speakers this month will be the Galveston Campus Yell Leaders!! They guarantee to bring it……. If you want to get crafty before the meeting, the Crafty Moms will be meeting at 5 pm to work on some of our custom tradition pieces.
At each meeting we collect donations for a local community group. In September we will be collecting school supplies for The Boys & Girls Country.
In addition to our monthly meeting, we also have some great events scheduled in September.
Crafty Mom Event on September 8th, 2019 at Wayne Enterprises at 14300 Hollister Street, HOU, TX 77066 from 2 pm to 5 pm. We need help making our Tradition fames and trees!!
We will be selling our full line of boutique items at the annual CFISD event, “Shop Til you Drop” on September 14, 2019 from 9 am to 5 pm at the Berry Center located at 8877 Barker Cypress Road, Cypress, TX 77433.
We also are holding our annual fall Kendra Scott fundraiser on September 26, 2019 from 6 pm to 9 pm at The Woodlands location. 9595 Six Pines Drive, The Woodlands, TX 77380. If you are unable to attend, you may call 281-528-1174 at any time during the day and place an order to be shipped free. You MUST identify your purchase as part of the NWHC Aggie Moms' Club Give Back effort in order to help earn our profits and to receive FREE shipping!
Lastly is our social event for the month which will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019 10 am to 4pm. We are attending the “Joan Son: Paper Couture Show” at the Printing Museum located 1324 W. Clay Street, HOU, TX 77019. This event will have a small admission fee of $5.00. The NWHC Aggie Moms will meet there at 10 am.
I’m excited so many of you joined the club at our HOWDY meeting in August! I hope you will bring a friend to our next meeting and come to some of our fun-filled events we have planned for this month. Happy September to you all……...
