I am addressing you from my home office today. I’m sure many of you are working or playing at home too. We all are facing difficult times due to the Coronavirus. Here at the NWHC Aggie Moms Club, we are trying to cope with club issues, as well as our own personal family issues. You all are in our prayers, and we hope we are in yours! We are working together to try and keep you updated as much as we can by sharing information as we learn it. The NWHC Aggie Moms Club usually has lots of great events planned every month, but unfortunately, all the events for April have been cancelled. We hope to resume general meetings in May, but I will keep you posted as we know more regarding that meeting date. At this time, we are planning the May meeting for Tuesday, May 12th, 2020.
Book Awards – April entries can be applied for through our website at https://www.nwhcaggiemoms.org/
Membership – You can register for your 2020-21 membership directly through our website. We will offer a special price for members who renew in April & May for only $30.
Student Organization Voting - This is usually done at our April meeting, but this year you will be able to vote by email. A list of all current organizations and a ballot form will be emailed to you to record your vote. Each year we donate to student organizations on campus based on the number of votes by our membership. As a club member, you are entitled to 3 votes for the club or group of your choice. The amount donated is based on the number of votes collected for each organization. Please use the form to vote, then send it to nwhc.membership@aggienetwork.com.
Family Weekend - With the cancellation of Family Weekend and Boutique, we will be holding our President’s Raffle drawing at our May meeting. Tickets are still available and can be purchased by emailing me at NWHCpresident@aggienetwork.com. Raffle tickets are $5 each or 2 for $10 or 6 for $20. Item #1 Custom framed Benjamin Knox Print. Item #2 Handmade Quilt. Item #3 Traditions Pillow. You can pick which item your raffle ticket will go towards.
Since the Spring Federation meeting will also not be held during Family Weekend, The Federation of Aggie Moms will be holding their Spring Meeting via Zoom. See Cathleen Inman’s message below for details on how you can be a part of that meeting event.

Our Spring Business Meeting will be an online Zoom meeting...which is a first! I'm hoping many of you can make it since you can joint from your living room. :)
We will be electing our Officers for 2020-2021, plus conducting other Federation business. Lastly, since Family Weekend has been cancelled, The Federation of Aggie Moms will be setting up a Facebook “Virtual Boutique” Page. This way you can still buy all the great items you look for at Boutique! We will post that link on our Facebook page on April 10, 2020.
As we move forward during these challenging times, the NWHC Aggie Moms Club is committed to keeping you updated with information on our upcoming events. Please stay safe & healthy.
