Hope you had a HAPPY 02/02/2020, Groundhog Day and SUPERBOWL SUNDAY!! Lots going on this month with the Northwest Harris County Aggie Moms Club! Below is a list of all the great upcoming events we have planned for February.
First is our monthly meeting on February 11th at 7pm. Our monthly meetings provide a chance to meet with other Aggie Moms, make new friends, do some crafting, share information, and learn about the traditions of Texas A&M. The meeting will be held at the Houston Distributing Company, 7100 High Life Drive, Houston, 77066. Arrive at 6:30 for food and fun or join our Crafty Moms at 5:00pm to work on some of our custom tradition pieces. The meeting will begin at 7:00pm. Our speaker this month will be Dave South, the Voice of Aggieland!
Each month we gather donations for a local community group. In February we will be collecting supplies for S.A.V.E Rescue Coalition in February. Time for you dog lovers to make a difference! Current needs include small collars, blankets/towels, dog beds, and gift cards to Walmart.
Next is our Social Club. The social event this month is on Sunday, February 23rd at the AMF Bowlero Willowbrook (formerly known as Willow Lanes) Bowling Center, 19102 Hwy 249, Houston, 77070. Bowling starts at 3 pm. Meet at 2:45pm. Cost is $8.24. Also, this month our social club is hosting Book Club, which will be held on Tuesday, February 18th at 6:30 at Frey’s Backyard Café located at 14441 FM 2920, Tomball, Texas 77377. Your book to read is The Dreamers by Karen Thompson Walker.
Many of our club’s Aggie Moms will be attending Aggie Mom Camp February 7-9, in College Station. We wish them all a fun and safe trip!
Lastly, our club’s first NWHC Aggie Mom’s Annual Trivia Night will be held on 2-29-20.
We will be selling tickets for our 1st Annual Trivia Night at our February general meeting. We will also sell tickets at the door the night of the event.
Lastly, the reason for our club: Scholarships!! The electronic scholarship application is now posted to the website for 2020-2021 school year. The application is due by 11:59 pm on February 5th, 2020. Visit our website for more information.
