Howdy Aggie Moms!

Our next general meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 10th at the Houston Distribution Center at 7100 high Life Drive, Houston, TX. At 5:30pm prior to the meeting, we will have our crafting hour to help prepare for the Spring craft fair. Come early to help put together our Traditions Line of products. As usual, potluck dinner is at 6:30pm followed by the general meeting at 7:00pm.

October Spirit of Service projects are Period Poverty Project and Pocket Pantry
|
Did you know that 1 in 4 girls have missed class due to a lack of feminine hygiene products?
|
We will be collecting feminine hygiene products.
|
Any size and brand of tampons, pads, and pantyliners. Please NO Maxi pads overnight-they are too big for packaging. Feminine hygiene wipes must be individually wrapped.
|
The Aggie Moms will bag the supplies and the Period Poverty Project will distribute the filled bags to schools and after school programs to be given to girls from low-income families.
|

Please bring your donations to the general meeting.

Aggie Moms October Book Club
The book to be discussed during the October 17th dinner is Mary Jane by Jessica Anya Blau. The book club will meet at 6:00pm at Martha’s Mexican Restaurant, 1025 Alma Street, Tomball, TX.
Note that you must be a Northwest Harris County Aggie Mom member to join the book club. For more information on the book club and this year's books, refer to Book Club & Social Events.

Round Top Collection Give Back Day
Come shop at the Round Top Collection Gallery in Cypress where our club will receive 20% of the sales. Along with fall home decor, RTC will have Aggie-themed merchandise. We will also require volunteers that day to help greet customers coming into the store to shop.

Fall Aggie Care Packages

The deadline to purchase a care package for your Aggie is October 31st. The price is $35. You may purchase at the October meeting or via Fall on-line form. The care packages will be distributed to students on Monday, December 4th. Refer to Care Packages for more information.

Come shop at Kendra Scott in the Towne Lake and Woodlands locations where our club will receive 20% of the sales. And if you cannot make it in person, there will be an on-line code that you can use that day for your on-line purchases.

Hullabaloo Huddle
Hullabaloo Huddle, the fall fundraiser, will be on Saturday, November 4th at STATS Bar and Grill at 10850 Louetta Rd #1700, Houston, TX 77070. Come join the fun to watch the Aggies BTHO Ole Miss. Enjoy drinks and game day food, as well as bid on items in the silent auction. Time will be determined based on A&M setting the game time a few weeks before the game.
