Wow! It is November already and families are making plans to spend time with family and friends for Thanksgiving. We wish you a wonderful time with your current and graduated Aggie students, and have a blessed Thanksgiving.

Hullabaloo Huddle
|
Hullabaloo Huddle was held last Saturday, November 4th at STATS Bar and Grill. Even though the Aggies didn't come away with a win, the Northwest Harris County Aggie Moms club was quite successfully in raising funds toward our student scholarships. We raised over $4500 that day. Thank you to everyone who donated items toward the silent auction and joined us at the bar that day. And also, thank you to the Aggie Moms who put together a wonderful fund raiser and social event.

November General Meeting
|
Our next general meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 14th at the Houston Distribution Center at 7100 high Life Drive, Houston, TX. At 5:30pm prior to the meeting, we will have our crafting hour to help prepare for the Spring craft fair. Come early to help put together our Traditions Line of products. As usual, potluck dinner is at 6:30pm followed by the general meeting at 7:00pm.

November Spirit of Service projects are The Mission of Yaweh and Pocket Pantry
The Mission of Yaweh is a faith-based shelter that empowers, enriches, and restores the lives of homeless women and children, and provides outreach services to communities in need since 1961. The following items are needed:

- Children’s Clothing (infants, toddlers, and youth-Middle School and younger)
- Liquid Body Wash (Full size)
- Full size bath soaps
- Bath towels (all sizes)
- Shower shoes (flip flops) – Women’s sizes 6-13
- Lysol spray and Lysol wipes
- Paper towels
- Toilet Paper (Scott Tissue)
- Infant Car Seats and Strollers (wish list items)

Aggie Moms November Book Club
The book to be discussed during the November 21st dinner is The Bandit Queens by Parini Shroff. The book club will meet at 6:00pm at Martha’s Mexican Restaurant, 1025 Alma Street, Tomball, TX.
Note that you must be a Northwest Harris County Aggie Mom member to join the book club. For more information on the book club and this year's books, refer to Book Club & Social Events.

Fall Aggie Care Packages
|
Care package distribution for both College Station and Galveston Aggies is Monday, December 4th. We will require volunteers on Sunday, December 3rd from 4-6pm to put together the care packages, as well as volunteers for the distribution day and donations for homemade goodies and fruits for the students at pickup. Be on the lookout for SignUpGenius emails to sign-up for the volunteer opportunities.

Ring of Honor Mom Dinner
The next Ring of Honor Mom Dinner is Monday, December 4th. After dinner and the meeting, we will have a Christmas Sock Exchange and play LCR (left, center, right game). Bring a pair of socks to exchange and five $1 bills. Look for email invitation that will be sent to our ROH Moms.

The drawings will be held on April 13th, 2024 during Texas A&M Family weekend. Winners will be contacted by phone. You may purchase tickets during the general meetings or family weekend. Tickets are $10 each or 6 for $50. You choose toward what prize to submit each purchased ticket.
