Howdy! Well, Fall is finally here and the holidays are drawing closer everyday (as of today, there are only 48 days until Christmas). As we all prepare for the holidays, we also will be preparing for our Annual Aggie Mom Holiday Celebrations!!
We have several exciting events coming up in November and hope you can squeeze in a little visit to join us this month. First is our monthly meeting. Monthly meetings provide a chance to meet with other Aggie Moms, make new friends, do some crafting, share information, learn about the traditions of Texas A&M, join clubs, do a little Christmas shopping at our Boutique (this will be your last chance to pick-up some cute Aggie holiday gifts before Christmas) and apply for book awards which we will draw for next month!!
The meeting will be held on November 12th at the Houston Distributing Company, located at 7100 High Life Drive, Houston, TX 77066. Arrive at 6:30 for food and fun. The meeting will begin at 7:00 pm. Our guest speaker this month will be Kathy Howard, Aggie Parents of the year ’05-‘06. If you want to get crafty before the meeting, the Crafty Moms will be meeting at 5 pm to work on some of our custom tradition pieces.
At each meeting we collect donations for a local community group. In November we will be collecting supplies for Cy-Hope’s After School (Christmas Gift Program).
In addition to our monthly meeting, we’ll also be holding a Crafty Mom event on November 10th from 2 pm to 5 pm. Wear your favorite holiday sweater and bring a snack to share. Drinks will be provided. We will be working on our Traditions line items. We will be selling those items at our upcoming boutique events at Aggie Mom Camp, February 2020 and Family Weekend, April 2020. We hold our Crafty Mom events at a state-of-the-art meeting room provided by a local company, Wayne Enterprises, Inc. Wayne Enterprises supports and sponsors our meeting events all year and they are located at 14300 Hollister Street, Suite 600, Houston, Texas 77066.
Our November social event is early in the month and will be held at The Museum of Fine Arts (FREE Admission) on Thursday, November 7, 2019, from 5 pm to 9pm. Food trucks available at 5 pm and Happy Hour until 9 pm.
I was thrilled to see so many of you at our recent Hullabaloo Huddle event at STATS Bar & Grill and at The Round Top Collection Gallery in-store event. Both events were a GREAT Success due to your support!! THANK YOU!!
